J-List Rules, Privacy, How to join & announce
-By giving us your contact details, you agree that you have “opted in” to receive the occasional email or phone call, related specifically to events of a local theatrical nature that may interest you or persons known to you, and that this is not classed as spam under NZ Anti-Spam law.
-There is no obligation on your part to reply to any emails received.
-J-List reserves the right to refuse to forward any message that in our opinion contains illegal, defamatory, or obscene material.
-You may request to “opt-out” (be removed from the J-List) at any time, or request to check your own details held by the J-List, or provide updates to those details, via email or by contacting the J-List Manager as above.
-Those aged under 18 must let their parents/caregivers/guardians know that they are joining this list, and ideally should provide us with the parents’ contact details too.
-The J-List manager will take all possible care to keep your details private.
-If we do think it beneficial for an organiser or another list member to make contact with a specific person (i.e. you) instead of addressing all the J-List, then J-List will advise you first, and let you decide whether J-List can pass on your personal contact details or not.
